Yesterday was a rather dull day, really overcast, and I didn't really get up to much because of it. A few trips in to town, and that was it.
Today, the weather improved in leaps, and though the lift was down for repair, I got a fair bit done.
Walking through the Sovereign Centre, I came to a conclusion, when I get into a new flat with a good sink and bath/shower that allows me more control to preen myself, I want to quit any work and sign up for the colleges' Helth, Beauty and Personal Care courses. Why? Because that's the course that seems to attract beautiful, well-groomed and clean girls - albeit also chavvy, earrings-the-size-of-bicycle-wheels girls.
Went to Tesco and got so much fruit it's quite astounding. Thanks to discussing with
Spin, I actually had some creative ideas for meals to make next week too, so I've ended up with fairly ambitious plans concerning grilled meats, pitta breads and fillings.
I actually look forward to doing stuff too, it's just a bit of a shame that I can't really experiment more because most recipes are for more than single portions. I'm pretty much prepared to try anything - except celery, which is the salad vegetable equivalent of the devil, and whose real name must never be uttered or it will breach the boundaries of Hell and come to the Earthern Plane with it's bitter veins of wickedness, and it'll do it with such celerity that people will never see it coming!
