Monday

Spent the morning in Weston, the weather turned overnight and it was warm but dull - making way no doubt for the rain. There wasn't really much to do in Weston, so I took the afternoon off to clear some of my Flexi Credit.

I was given a map of where'd I be sat if I moved to the other Weston office, a little corner with no window, between two columns and near to the back of a door. It kind of makes the HMRC option a little more welcoming.

Tuesday

A rather rotten day, weather wise. It decided to shower enough in Bristol while I was up there to make it worth carrying my coat, but getting back in to Weston it heated up enough to make me wish I'd got soaked.

Jaqs picked Gary and I up from the office, as we aren't allowed to incur more than one travel cost or else we'll get sent to woodshed for a slap with the hickory switch (which wouldn't normally be an issue, but given the slapper..). Luckily we only nearly had a few accidents, which is much better than usual.

Bristol was ok, I couldn't really do much as I was working on my 'rides' timescale and not my own, but managed to get some forms re-designed.

I also managed to finally kill my PC smartcard, which has been slowly losing plastic laminate over the last 2+ years. The office wouldn't replace it as long as it still worked, irregardless of condition, so when it died it was like a major accomplishment. The laminate on the edge near the smartcard chip peeled up, hardened and then lodged itself behind the scanner on the card reader. I managed to break the plastic, kill the chip and take down a PC peripheral with it. Collateral damage rocks.

Apparently I missed both an Anne Summers show at the Winter Gardens and the accompanying eye candy that wandered around town to attend it. Damn it.

After being inspired by Ann Summers recent survey I've composed 75 of my favourite turn-ons (it was getting tough after about 40*). Of course, this is completely redundant, but it was fun. I think everyone should have a publicly available list - it could be like the 'dating resume' from Something*Positive, though of course then you'd need some people to actually give feedback and that could be awkward.

I'd do turn offs too, but that list might be tougher to do.

* Yes, originally I wrote 'hard' and thought best to re-word it.

Recently Ann Summers - purveyors of frills, foreplay and fornication clothing and equipment - conducted a survey with 10,000 staff and customers on what turned the British public on, granted considering it was a survey on people who buy from an adult store you don't really get the response from the shy or brown mac wearers (and by that I don't mean Columbo).

The results aren't actually that surprising given the sample populace, so, I've decided to give my view on each of the results :
Of course, mostly in theory... )
